I’d debate that statement, but it’s accurate on at least two levels.
Mugs
I have a little mug for making tea. It’s got a ceramic filter that doesn’t really strain well that drops into it, and a lid that sits on top while the loose leaves steep.
It’s got a silvery flower-and-dragonfly pattern on the side and on the lid.
Maybe it doesn’t work very well, maybe it’s not perfect, but it does its job, and for some reason just holding it in my hands while it’s full and the heat seeps through the sides helps calm me down.
